This was the top tier of a fruit wedding cake which was stored and then re-iced for the christening of Claire and Justin’s first baby 2 years later. A lovely tradition and the cake is still delicious.
This cake was commissioned by the mother of the groom. She wanted a fusion of traditional English wedding cake with Chinese symbolism in recognition of the bride’s Chinese heritage.
