Dinosaur cake

Harry’s family were on holiday locally for his 3rd birthday this year. His mum emailed me to order a cake and told me that Harry is ‘obsessed with dinosaurs’. So here we have a chocolate cake, filled with chocolate buttercream and decorated with sugar dinosaurs and a rice krispie cake volcano and rocks. Hope the rain didn’t dampen your birthday Harry.

Dungeons and Dragons

After a long succession of dinosaur themed cakes, Barney requested a dragon this year. This chocolate fudge cake topped with a sugar dragon was picked up by his Nana in time for his party. Happy birthday Barney.

Roblox Cake

Thomas was 10 this week. I made an ‘Adopt Me’ themed cake for his sister earlier this year and now it was his turn for a Roblox creations. This is a vanilla cake filled with jam and buttercream. Happy Birthday Thomas.

Golden Wedding Cake

Kate’s parents celebrated their golden wedding last month. She particularly wanted a simple elegant cake that featured the lily of the valley and stephanotis flowers that her mother carried 50 years ago. So I have made the sugar bouquet and tiny white flowers around the sides to echo the broderie anglais of the bridesmaid’s dresses. I added a sugar bow and a sprinkle of shimmer powder to finish it off. Congratulations Gill and Stuart.

PJ Masks

Alex was 4 yesterday. Nicoleta saw the picture of a PJ Masks cake like this one on the website and contacted me to order one just like it. Inside there are 4 layers of chocolate fudge cake. Hope you had a lovely day everyone.

Flowerpot with a statue

Sue and her friends organised a surprise birthday celebration for Debs. They wanted one of my very popular flowerpot cakes but with a twist. After toying with the idea of ditching the trowel in favour of a gnome (long story) she decided that a sugar replica of the statue of Joy would be more fitting. So here we are. The pot is jam and buttercream sponge with chocolate soil and sugar roses. Glad you had a lovely day girls
