Kate’s parents celebrated their golden wedding last month. She particularly wanted a simple elegant cake that featured the lily of the valley and stephanotis flowers that her mother carried 50 years ago. So I have made the sugar bouquet and tiny white flowers around the sides to echo the broderie anglais of the bridesmaid’s dresses.
